Pick the stone standing in front of it

Screens lie about stone. Our warehouse keeps racks of slabs you can walk up to, so you choose your kitchen with your hands on the stone.

Questions we get every week

How are countertops priced?
By the square foot, not by the whole slab — so a small kitchen or a single vanity doesn't pay for stone it never uses, and remnant-sized jobs are welcome. What you pay depends on the material and the level of the stone, so the honest answer comes from your actual layout: send your measurements or book a free in-home estimate and we'll quote it.
Do you install, or only fabricate?
Both, with our own crew. We template your kitchen, cut and polish the stone in our South Yarmouth shop, and install it ourselves. Nothing is subcontracted, so the people who cut your stone are the people who come back if anything needs adjusting.
How long does a countertop job take?
For stone we have in the warehouse, most kitchens are templated and installed within one to two weeks. Special orders depend on the supplier. If you're working around a contractor's schedule or a rental turnover, tell us the date and we'll tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
Which towns do you serve?
All of Cape Cod — Yarmouth, Hyannis, Barnstable, Dennis, Harwich, Chatham, Orleans, Brewster, Falmouth, Mashpee, Sandwich, Bourne and the Outer Cape — plus Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, and mainland jobs in the Plymouth and Greater Boston area. Free in-home estimates across Cape Cod.
Granite, quartz or marble — which should I pick?
Granite is natural stone, heat-resistant and no two slabs alike; it wants sealing every year or two. Quartz is engineered, non-porous, never needs sealing and repeats consistently, which suits busy kitchens and rentals. Marble is the most beautiful and the least forgiving — it etches with lemon and wine, so we usually steer it toward vanities, fireplaces and baking counters. Come to the warehouse and we'll tell you which one fits how you actually cook.
Can I see the actual slab before I commit?
Yes, and we recommend it. Slabs sit on racks at 18 Fruean Way in South Yarmouth. Screens flatten stone — veining, depth and color read differently in person. You can tag a slab with a deposit so it's held for your job.
Do you do bathrooms and outdoor kitchens too?
Yes. Vanity tops, shower thresholds, tub surrounds, fireplace surrounds and hearths, outdoor kitchen and bar tops, and laundry counters. We also repair, re-polish and reseal stone we didn't install.
